Top Ten Tuesday #25

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Top Ten Authors I've Only Read One Book From & Need to Read More!

Do you know how never-ending this list is???? I always, always, ALWAYS, read one book per author, which honestly needs to stop because I have read so many great books. I just never follow up with more, because I like to start fresh.

I will try to narrow it down to only 10 though. HA.

I'll put the author first, then a book I HAVE read by them, and one that I desperately want to read next.

Maggie Stiefvater - Author of The Raven Boys

I desperately need to read the next book after The Raven Boys, aka The Dream Thieves just because Blue Lily, Lily Blue is coming out soon and I must not fall behind! Another book by her I really also want to read is The Scorpio Races, because it just looks so epic!

A. G. Howard - Author of Splintered

I have YET TO READ Unhinged, I mean I did take it out of the library that one time, but had to return it simply because I was traveling back to school. If I do get a library card here (I'm such a wimp with adult social stuff), then I'll definitely request it!

Marissa Meyer - Author of Cinder

I am currently reading Scarlet now, but I've only gotten through the first 70 pages! Anyways, I WANT MORE. I want to read everything Marissa Meyer has written, because let me tell ya, she does a fantastic job with her writing style, showing rather than telling. It is GREAT.

Markus Zusak - Author of The Book Thief

The Book Thief was one of my favorite reads of last year, AND IT WAS SO WELL DONE. I definitely want to read his other book, I Am The Messenger, just because I also heard it was really good.

Haruki Murakami - Author of The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

I used to be obsessed with trying to read all of Haruki Murakami's books, but then I stopped after the first book I read by him. I'm not sure why, I mean it was good, but if I had to put this in a genre, it's definitely literature that has tons of deep meaning connected to it. But I do want to read Kafka on the Shore!

Leigh Bardugo - Author of Shadow and Bone

I LOVED Shadow and Bone, but just haven't gotten to Siege and Storm yet for some unknown reason! But it is on my shelf, so I will get to finishing this trilogy soon!

Susanna Kearsley - Author of The Firebird

I did like The Firebird, I did. But I think I only gave it 3 stars just because. But I still want to read The Winter Sea, because Susanna Kearsley does write some good historical fiction, and I heard this other book by hers is amazing!

Lauren Oliver - Author of Delirium

I seriously need to read more of Lauren Oliver's books, because even though I did like Delirium, I'm not sure if I'll continue the series. But I do want to read Panic!

THIS SERIES. It's really good for a children's series, though I had to get used to the writing style for the first book. But it's very "fairy-tale" like in style, and I loved it tons! I need to read the sequel though, which is again another long title I don't feel like writing out!

Stacey Rourke - Author of Crane (The Legends Saga)

LOOK AT THIS NEW AND UPCOMING AUTHOR. This series seriously needs to be more popular because it's pretty good! I'll be reading Raven sometime this week for a blog tour next week!

Finally, I am done. Feel free to link up TTT's!

I finished this during stats class this morning, I feel like a badass :P

Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table

AT MY LUNCH TABLE? Wow I haven't had lunch tables since forever, maybe high school? Haha I usually eat by myself at college because I'm lonely (and plus I need to bring my own lunch from now on). OK, but here it is!

Liesel Meminger from The Book Thief - Liesel is AWESOME, and she absolutely loves books just like I do. AND SHE'S ADORABLE! And might as well throw Rudy into the mix too because those two together are my OTP.

September from The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making - Ahhhh September. The selfish little girl who decided to go off to Fairyland because she was bored. She's kind of cool though. I like her! She would just be at my table, just because, she's quirky.

Cath from Fangirl - Of course she would be sitting at my table! Hardcore fangirls must stick together at all times!

Lirael from Lirael (Old Kingdom Series) - I LOVE LIRAEL. I feel like this list is turning into "Characters Val loves", rather than who would ACTUALLY sit at my table. She is pretty quiet though, like me. Though I feel like she'll keep more to herself.

Eleanor from Eleanor & Park - ELEANOR HAS RED HAIR LIKE MEEEE! We will sit together just because of that. Anddddd because she's awesome.

Meggie from Inkheart - ANOTHER BOOK LOVER! We will all gush about books together (and form a book club because yes) -- btw the movie for this sucked. I haven't even watched it but I've heard.

Suze from The Mediator Series - I LOVE SUZE SHE'S LIKE THE COOL GIRL. BUt there's NO WAY SHE WILL SIT AT OUR TABLE. BUT I CAN TRY. Or force her. Because I own the school, through.....um.....ways....yeah. (not blackmail)

Karou from the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series - A girl with blue hair has definitely gotta sit at my table. I feel bad for saying this, but maybe she'll be ostracised and be forced to sit with us, because we're cool.

Verity from Code Name Verity - VERITY I LOVE YOU. I WILL COMFORT YOU AND AUGH. You will sit with us.

Blue from The Raven Boys - I really like Blue, she's super cool but weird but in an awesome way. She would soooo sit at our table. We are full of quirky people.

Haha, this list was basically me forcing people to sit with me!

Which shouldn't be a problem. As usual, feel free to link up below! Also, all images were either taken from covers, movies, deviantart, or tumblr (which have been linked to their sources)

Top Ten Books I Really Want to Read But Don't Own Yet

This is literally my whole TBR list. Well, almost. But yeah, there are just tons of books I desperately want to read, but just don't have at the moment because of money. But here's my top ten books I need to get my hands on now, because I said so.

Abhorsen by Garth Nix - DO YOU SEE THAT NEW COVER???? Does anyone know when this cover will come out, or if it will be for a certain region (I hope not, please be for the US). The reason why I haven't read this is so that I can obtain this beautiful cover, and the rest of the matching set.

Clariel by Garth Nix - I want to preorder this, but I saw that the new cover is not part of the pre-order. So I will wait. And then I will buy it. AND OBTAIN THIS COVER TOO.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - THIS WILL BE ON EVERY LIST simply because I have not read it and I have not bought it. I swear, the comments I get for not reading this yet.

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas - I've seen this everywhere and I really, really read it. But sadly I do not own it. *cries*

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness - Basically anything by Patrick Ness. I don't own a single one of his books, and this makes me sad

All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill - I want to read an amazing time travel book SO BAD. And it has to be good. Not like the Here and Now. God, that book, ugh.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas - THIS WILL HAPPEN I PROMISE. Also the billionth time this book has been on my TTT lists as well.

The Little Prince (IN FRENCH) by Antoine de Saint-Exupery - I refuse to read this book unless 1) I have a copy of it, and 2) it's in legit, French (not the translated one, I want the original).

Talon by Julie Kagawa - I don't care that I didn't like her Fey series that much. I STILL WANT DRAGONS. I love dragons! AND TEEN HUMAN DRAGONS? yes. (This is what it is right?)

The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski - I still have to read this, but have failed to obtain a copy of it anytime soon. Ah well.

Yep, that's about it! Feel free to link up your TTTs so I can visit :D

Or I'll just stalk you anyways no big deal.
