Stacking the Shelves #19

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I picked up a copy of The Kiss of Deception, and I'm reading it right now! (And Holly and Rachel are very happy about it)

And then I got The Burning Sky, which I have already read! (Thanks to my awesome schedule that is working). I have mixed thoughts, but my review will be up next week.

And then, since I randomly needed another book from the new releases sections, so I took After the End. It sounds interesting, wasn't on my TBR initially but we will see!

And then of course BookOulet had that $5 coupon, which of course I had to use. Because I already had stuff in my cart and I needed both of these books! Even though I've already read both.

So yep, I bought Mistborn: The Final Empire, and also Fairyland, which has a super long title and I didn't feel like writing it out.

Also, that fuzz? Yeah that's Ollie's tail (the doggy) because he refused to get out of my photo.

I'VE GOT NOTHING.

Oh, I applied for my first credit card, and I got it! (accepted in two minutes bam!) Though I'm pretty sure it's because the banker overestimated my income. HA

But I have already pre-ordered Fairest with it, so hopefully this doesn't become a problem. DON'T WORRY GUYS I AM RESPONSIBLE. I know everything about credit thanks to very helpful banker.

Other than that, classes started, work started, I'm off to a pretty good start!

I wish you luck on your credit card endeavors. I know if I had one....oh my, I don't even want to imagine what would happen if I had one. :)

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland sounds really interesting.

Oooh, Mistborn! I really need to get that one as well. I've been meaning to for so long. Every time I walk past it, I hover for awhile and then decide not to buy it. >< I hope you enjoy all these new books!

MISTBORN! MISTBORN! I haven't read it but everyone loves it so I think it's awesome! XD Oooh, The Burning Sky is also on my TBR. The premisr really falls on my alley, I need to buy it soon! And congrats for your credit card! :D I would do anything to have one right now.

Enjoy these babies, Val!

Oh my gosh I have heard so many raves about Mistborn, I just bought mine last week too! I need to get into this Book Outlet stuff that everyone is buying from, but then I worry I'll drown in a sea of books.

I've heard good things about Kiss of Deception and Mistborn, hope you love them!

I've put myself on a book buying ban until I get somewhat caught up with all of my purchases. :/

Congrats on the credit card and venturing into adulthood!

Oooh, the temptation of credit cards! You'll be grand, the first few weeks will be the hardest, but it'll pass!

The Kiss of Deception! How is it?? I've been so curious about it for months, but I'm not 100% sure I'll love it... With After the End, I've heard both good and bad about it, but the only way you know for sure is to try is ;) I plan on reading it myself at some stage, and now your making me really want to visit my library! I haven't been in so long (*blushes*) Enjoy all your books, Val!

Haha, you keep being responsible. XD I still don't have mine, I think you have to be 18? But I fear the temptation will be too high, so I'll wait a little. ^^ I'm so glad you borrowed The Kiss of Deception! Oh my god, it has been like A YEAR since the last time I went to the library. Well, the one that isn't at my school. O.O I keep buying and buying

The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making! (Yay, I did it). I always forget about that book for some reason and am reminded again whenever someone mentions it. I'm excited to see what you think about it. I didn't like Kiss of Deception that much, but I hope you enjoy it. Have a great week! <3

May the odds be ever in your favour. Lol.

Anyway, one day, I'll succumb to pressure and finally read a full length Sanderson fantasy novel. Le sigh.

Happy reading!

Aha, love the tail shot, though! Cute! I'm really curious as to what you thought about The Burning Sky! I liked it but had a few issues, same with the sequel. Still haven't read anything by Brandon Sanderson, I should really do that!

Ah, credit cards. Fueling my compulsive buying since 2005 ;) And YAY for Val pre ordering books! This is good, you'll be one of "us" in no time! (Evil laughter ensues.)

I liked After the End, and I MUST read Kiss of Deception!! And the dog's tail is too cute ;) Book Outlet needs to stop with their coupons. I saved $5 and spent $20. Not good. Not good at all. Hope you enjoy these books though!

Oooh Fairyland! I nearly got those as well, but there were other books calling my name ;) I’m really looking forward to Mistborn, but now I just need to find a day to start it!

LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR THOUGHTS ON ALL OF THESE. Literally.

I want to get a credit card once I've moved out on my own, for emergency reasons, though I'm sure a few sneaky bits and bobs (and books) would sneak their way onto it!
