Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
I won an ARC of The Carrier of the Mark from Kelley @ Oh, The Books!
And then I also won the giveaway hosted by Faye, Rashika, and Aimee @ The Social Potato, and picked to receive All The Bright Places (which I am reading right now, no surprise)
So, I am currently back at college now, and happy to be back to my normal routine. And of course new classes and work and BEING PAID (to watch videos of babies).
Since things are bound to get a little hectic, I've laid out a few rules for myself when it comes to blogging and also buying books. I'm planning to only read a set number of different blogs on the weekends, Tuesdays, and Thursdays nights. I've also been really good at scheduling posts for some reason, but that's not likely to continue because I see the huge piles of workload ahead of me and blah.
I'll do what I can. And hahahha, look at all those posts I haven't commented back on. Whoops. I WILL GET TO THAT.
Also, I have come up with a plan to buy one new 2015 release each month. This year, my goal is to keep up with the new releases that I want to read, because last year I did a HORRIBLE job of reading ANYTHING published in 2014. Haha yeah it was bad. But this year that will NOT happen.
I think I can spare $10-20 a month on a book per month.
So yeah. THAT IS THAT. How was your week?

I wish I could get paid to watch videos of babies. :P Even though I don't like babies. At all.
I'm back at uni as well and really hope I can keep up with blogging... So far I think I'm aiming for maybe three posts a week? TTT every week, then my Keep It Queer feature every other week, so about three reviews a fortnight, or maybe two reviews and a discussion post. HOPEFULLY IT WILL ALL WORK OUT. I've been fairly good at scheduling posts as well (by this I mean I have posts scheduled for next week, but er, that's it BUT THAT'S PRETTY GOOD FOR ME).
YOUR PLAN SOUNDS GOOD. I LIKE IT.

I'm also really behind on comments, I think it's never ending, you can just never not be behind on comments and if you are one of those people whose never behind then you must have an unknown superpower.
I hope All The Bright Places didn't completely break your heart(though that may be impossible)! =)

Also. Congrats on winning 2 things!! That is awesomeness. ^_^ And that is a very good plan to buy a book a month. I want to do that...but not necessarily for 2015 releases. Just for ANY books. Because I never buy books and I love books and I like to eat them.

And that's a great plan of buying 2015 releases each month! I've already bought 3 books this January, so I may dothat next month or in March. Small steps, little bird.
See, I really should stop playing that blasted Bird Dating Simulation.

I was a terrible reader last year and I'm trying to catch up with 2014 releases first before I start buying 2015 books! :D Goodluck and happy reading! <3

How's it going so far? Also, it's awesome that you want to buy new releases this year. My parents don't approve of buying books, so I'd be lucky to buy 5 books throughout the year, haha. Goodluck! <3

I hope we both can stick to our new book buying promises - it was really strange for me to go to the store and not buy two or three books!

I have set myself to only buy one book per month but they likely won't be new releases because I am quite terribly at keeping up with new releases. And besides, I like reading some older books! Shiny-ness doesn't always mean goodness when it comes to books.
Hopefully you can keep up with blogging and life things, Valerie!
