Top Ten Tuesday #67

Hosted by the Broke and the Bookish!

Top Ten Authors I've Read The Most Books From

Thanks to a little tip from someone on Twitter, sadly I don't remember who, I was able to easily find a list of authors I've read the most books by, on Goodreads. Though most of the books I've read came from a trilogy written by the author. When it comes to reading, I don't like to binge read books from the same author, just because I need variety in my reading!

It's no surprised that I've read the most books by Meg Cabot. I have 8 books listed on Goodreads by her, but I know for a fact that I've read at least 15 of her books. (If you don't know by now, she is my all time favorite author.

Followed next is obviously J.K. Rowling. This isn't on my Goodreads, but I have read all the Harry Potter books, plus The Casual Vacancy, which I loathed entirely.

Lastly, I want to bring up Brandon Sanderson, the king of fantasy. If you haven't picked up one of his books yet, I don't know what is wrong with you.

Do you recognize any of these authors? (If not then you are DISOWNED, just kidding)

Oh my gosh I love Meg Cabot. I've been in love with her books since I was a kid. And of course J.K. Rowling is queen.

So one day JK Rowling will make this list. I still need to read Harry Potter but have read some of her newer stuff. I have read all of Rainbow Rowell's books and loved them. I just started Cinder and so far love it! -Great list!

YAY you have Meg Cabot at the top of your list too. I think she is just a given on all my lists at this point. Yeah and I don't know what is wrong with me because I haven't read anything by Sanderson yet. I had a friend who has similar tastes hate one of his books so I think I just shied away from him since.

LOL! Same here, the author I've read most books from is Meg Cabot. GR says I've read 22 books by her :') BUT I HAVEN'T actually read the princess diaries series (aside from book 1) .-. I

I've read a lot of books by some of the author's on your list (I've read the entire HP series too) but the funny thing is that aside from Meg Cabot, none of those other authors are on my top 10 :P

I do recognize those authors, and I have read their books. Laini Taylor's series was the first urban fantasy that I actually liked :D Rainbow Rowell is superb! I love her stories, Attachments <3

I recognize all of these authors, but so far I've only read Rowling and Collins (both of whom made my list) and Stiefvater (but only The Scorpio Races, which I really liked, and Shiver, which I didn't enjoy at all.)

Looking at your list makes me think - why is it that I still haven't read the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy and the Lunar Chronicles? What am I doing with my life?! LOL I need to fix this... soon! :)

I confess, I confess! I don't think I've heard of Elizabeth Wein. I've heard of everyone else and may or may not have read them.

I totally read a Brandon Sanderson book, but Steelheart had metaphors so bad, it was hilarious. Tell me the rest of his books aren't like that?!

Dont know why i didn't know about Brandon Sanderson. And Rowling is the highest, it is my childhood, i grew up together with Potter, waiting for a new book. When i was in the college i did my essay on influence of the Harry Potter books on the generation, which was born 1990-1995.
