Top Ten Books I Can't Believe I Haven't Read From The Fantasy Genre
If you haven't noticed by now, I absolutely love fantasy. It's the first genre that really got me into reading, well a branch of it at least. I really was into paranormal fantasy back in the day, and since then I've been looking for more and more fantasy books to read.
So I guess I'll just list all the books I haven't read yet from the fantasy genre!
So I guess I'll just list all the books I haven't read yet from the fantasy genre!
Written in Red by Anne Bishop - So I JUST learned about this series, and it just sounds so freaking cool!
Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo - I'm not sure why I keep putting this one off. I HAVE the this book! :P
Unhinged by A. G. Howard - I've already read Splintered, so I should probably read this sequel, yes? Especially since Ensnared JUST came out
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch - Came out last year, so I'm kind of late to the party but then again not really. I'm waiting for library to have this one, so whenever someone checks it back in...should be soon.
Vicious by V. E. Schwab - BEEN WANTING TO READ THIS FOREVER. I'm preordering her A Darker Shade of Magic though, which I am VERY excited to read.
The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland... by Catherynne M. Valente - I AM TOO LAZY to write out that whole title! But it's the second Fairyland book. BECAUSE I LIKED THE FIRST. I'm waiting for it to go on sale or something. Maybe I'll just borrow it from the library.
Yay I hope I get to these soon! What genre did you choose?

You MUST read Vicious, I read it on my holidays away and it was completely AMAZING. I want to re-read it again!
The Darkest Minds has been on my TBR for a while too, we really should buddy read it together sometime!
Stormdancer was more high fantasy than YA, but still really fascinating nonetheless, especially with the Steampunk sections.
WRITTEN IN RED IS A MUST READ.
Great list Val!

Several of the others are on my own TBR list. I need to start the Grisha trilogy (I own all three books - just need to pick them up) and continue with the Fairyland series (I've read the first book and own the second two).

Also, Shadow and Bone / The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo is really good! The world is very interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, the antagonist will break your heart into a thousand pieces. I felt for him more than anyone in the series come the end. :(
Snow Like Ashes is a book I'm not 100% sure I'll read any time soon. I've heard a lot of mixed things about it (like that it's too close to Throne of Glass), and I want to read it after the hype of it has died down a bit so I can form my own opinions.
Great list :D

I need to read a lot of these too, Fantasy is my favorite genre but I feel like I'm so behind on it right now! I definitely recommend School For Good and Evil, it's a really fun book. I read about half of Seige and Storm a few months ago and haven't picked it up since...oops. =)
