Stacking the Shelves #21

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I won a giveaway from Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction, and choose The Red Queen, just because I've heard many good things about it, and how EPIC and ACTION PACKED it is as well. I don't know when I'll get to it, but it will be soon.

I bought the kindle version of All The Light We Cannot See because I had two days to read it for book club. Even though I didn't finish it in time, I did end up finishing it two days later. So you will hear about all my feels and thoughts and see how my poor heart broke in two in a couple of days or so.

SO YES I ALREADY READ IT AND IT WAS HEART WRENCHING

First off. It's below 0F almost every morning, and it absolutely sucks. But on the bright side, there's two more weeks until Spring Break, and hopefully Spring in general. Ha.

Second, I have not been a good blogger. SORRY GUYS. I really haven't. Not only have all my comments been left untouched, but I haven't been visiting many blogs either and it just sucks. I feel so out of the loop in the blogosphere :(

Other than that, nothing much has been happening!

OMG SO PRETTY! I have a finished copy of Red Queen to and it's paperback and beautiful but that hardcover is so shiny. Well done, you lucky thing. ;-) I HAVE BEEN A BAD BLOGGER THIS WEEK TOO. I literally posted twice. Hah. It's okay to be a slacker sometimes, right?!

I want to read Red Queen so badly, and I actually just got it from the library. Except I've actually been borrowing too many books from the library, so I have quite a few books to go before I can read Red Queen. :) I feel like I've been a bad blogger recently, too. I really haven't got around the blogosphere as much as I usually do.

I just seen All The Light We Cannot See at the library yesterday and I was tempted to pick it up but didn't. Maybe I will. I'm all about the feels! :) Happy reading!

Ooooh, Red Queen! I hope you absolutely LOVE it, Val! I need to get my hands on it soon, I've heard really good things about it :D I've been such a slacker this week... I only posted twice, and I haven't been visiting blogs either :( Hopefully next week will be a million times better! Have a great weekend :)

Red Queen looks interesting, I hope you enjoy it 9and read it soon so I hear your thoughts on it) Hint, hint, nudge, nudge. ;)

I've been a bad blogger too! I haven't commented on anything, and have no idea what's going on with the blogosphere either. At least we're not alone!

Hope you have an awesome weekend. =)

It has been horrible and cold and awful and below zero here too. YUCK. I also have been a crappy blogger, I think. GAH.

Anyway... Red Queen! I have it and need to read it soon too. All the Light We Cannot See... I don't know if I can handle it. I will read your review and go from there ;)

I bought The Red Queen just yesterday and all I can do was just pet it and stare at the shiny cover. Gaaah, so pretty! I hope it lives up to its hype. All the Light We Cannot See sounds good. Historical fiction isn't really on my alley but I might try to get out of my comfort zone some day XD Enjoy these books, Val! :D

Squee! I also won Red Queen and I am anxiously awaiting it to arrive! I can't wait to compare reviews :)

Life has been busy - I think we are all at the point in the semester where we have to buckle down. Good luck!

Great haul; Congratulations on your win! Red Queen does sound pretty awesome. I should definitely pick up a copy soon and see what all the hype is about. All the Light We Cannot See is one that I've heard great things about as well. I hope you enjoy your books. :) I'm a new follower; I love your blog!

Haha, you finally managed to get your hands on Red Queen! I hope you enjoy it; even if the beginning seems a little meh for you, rest assured that it gets MUCH better. You just need to have patience, my friend. Hehehe. (Holy crap, though, the cover looks so good in hardback. I wants!)

The cover for All the Light We Cannot See is so pretty! Loving all the blues in the picture. <3 I've never heard of it, but now you have me curious for your review... DON'T KEEP US HANGING, VAL. Then again your laptop's down, so I guess we've got no choice but to wait. I'm looking forward to seeing how it broke your heart into a million pieces. Books like these give me strength. *evil laugh*

ZERO DEGREES FAHRENHEIT, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I have a friend who lives in New York and she mentioned that the weather was in the negatives Fahrenheit almost every day, and I have to admit that I didn't believe her, because that's like -17 degrees Celsius (sorry, I use the British degree rule, haha), and I can't believe that it can get so cold. O_O But I hope you're wrapping up all nice and snug, because the weather sounds crazy.

Hope you have a great rest of the week, hon!

I hope you enjoy The Red Queen more than I did Val, I think the hype got to me for that one! Don't stress about blogging and stuff while you've got other stuff going on! That weather is freaking insane, I don't know how I'd cope living in a cold place. xx

Oh, that's so cool, you winning (choosing) Red Queen! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. I guess I should start my own copy... what is wrong with me?? Anyway, have a great weekend, Valerie :)

I absolutely ADORE the cover of RED QUEEN, and I am so disappointed by the slew of mediocre reviews I have been reading for it :( Hopefully you really like it!

Ah, I think it's so weird that it is super freezing cold for you and it is SO HOT here in Australia. I wanted the air-con on all day today because it was seriously just disgustingly hot. I cannot wait for Autumn and Winter weather to kick in and get rid of this heat!

Also, don't feel bad about being a bit behind on blogging! We all go through our phases, and sometimes it's just hard to catch up with everything. I swear I haven't been on top of commenting in MONTHS. Good luck to us both :D

YAY for Red Queen! I read it a while ago and I loved it! I hope you do to. There are some mixed reviews floating around but I hope you'll be on the positive side. It's always nice to read a good book, especially one that's REALLY good.

I don't think you're a bad blogger at all. For missing posts or you know... being in real life, it just makes you pretty good at prioritizing. I'm the opposite. I let myself fall apart while I blog like I'm alright. I guess to each their own. Hope tomorrow will be better for you <3 3
