Stacking the Shelves #17

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

For Christmas, I received Le Petit Prince and it is in French! I'm a little sad that this was the only thing I got from my parents, but I've kind of come to expect that.

But the book itself is AUTHENTIC and BEAUTIFUL (from Quebec haha). Also the pictures are in color yay! I cannot wait to read it!

Be prepared, I got A TON of HarperCollins titles from Edelweiss, on the 24th too. I'm pretty sure they just accepted all of my requests because Christmas, BUT STILL. This makes up for everything!

I AM LITERALLY ALL SET FOR THE NEXT YEAR hahahah! No but there are some really good books here that I am very excited to read!

Nothing much going on! I just came back from Canada from celebrating Christmas! Since it's technically still the holidays for some people, I'm still wishing everyone an amazing holiday, AND ALSO A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Can you believe that it will soon be 2015? Everything went by so quickly!

Whoa, nice review books! I have some of those too, and I just requested Things We Know by Heart because it looks adorable! AND I don't think it was just because it is Christmas either, since I'd heard a lot of bloggers got rejected on Christmas Eve (which is really, really awful and shouldn't happen!). so I think they legitimately just like you, Val!

Your copy of Le Petite Prince is so cute, Val! And hey, I got no books for Christmas, and just some money, so you're not alone :D We can be sad together.

YOU HAVE CRIMSON BOUND??? LUCKY!! I don't know how to get accepted for books in Edeilweiss, to be honest :( I've read many posts about it and have requested more than 20 books but no acceptance. Meeeh, hate that web site now. Anyway, enjoy, girl!!

AHHHH YOU GOT ALL THOSE ARCS!! I WANNA READ PAPERWEIGHT SO BAD but they rejected me. To be expected, since I only just started up this blog again and I have barely any followers, but still. ;___; Between the Notes, Emmy & Oliver, and Don't Ever Change also look really interesting! I can't wait to hear what you think of them. SO EXCITING.

I would love to have Le Petit Prince in French! I've read the English version and it's so beautiful :) I'll have to make sure to buy something like that too when I get the chance. Not sure if it's available here in the Philippines. And yay for the approvals of EW arcs! ^^ I read Crimson Bound and Things We Know by Heart and they're absolutely gorgeous. You'll love them, I'm sure of it.

Your French must be really good if you can The Little Prince in it! *envious* Still learning Japanese and I can only read a few basic kanji. Bleh. The book looks and sounds gorgeous, though!

AND WHOAAAA, LOOK AT THOSE ARCS. I received Challenger Deep as well, and even though the blurb doesn't sound like something I'd usually read, I've heard that Neal Schusterman is good, and of course, the cover is beautiful. My eyes can't handle all those blues. *O* Speaking of covers, what is up with next year's book covers, man? WHY ARE THEY ALL SO PRETTY? I don't know how much longer my self-control can last because I'd seriously buy each and every one of these books JUST FOR THE COVERS THEMSELVES. HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO TEST ME, GOD?! Ah well, fingers crossed that the content is just as great as the outside!

2014 really went by fast. I don't remember any other year going by this quickly, which just goes to show that time literally stops for no one. I'm excited to go to college, yet not excited at the same time because WORK. All I wanna do is read and watch and blog and write and be lazy, bahahaha. The Little Prince! I've always had my eyes on it, but never really read it...

And wow, so many ARCs! I'm in love with the cover of Paperweight and the fact that I've seen it twice today is definitely a sign I should read this. Made You Up looks really promising too! I hope you have loads of fun reading them all. Looking forward to your thoughts. :) )

OH MY GOD Things We Know by Heart completely killed me!!! It was SO good - can’t wait for you to read it! I also got Paperweight this week as well; I’ve already got my tissues in hand because that is going to hit me right in the feels I’m sure.

Dam Harper Collins never approve me. I could tell them I was on fire, and they still wouldn't pee on my leg. The Little Prince is absolutely lovely *makes googly love heart eyes*

Le sigh, I wish I could read French. You could probably read even a horrid book that no body liked, but as long as it's in french, It would honestly sound magical. I haven't heard of any of the eARCs you nabbed, so going to check them out. Some of those covers are incredibly lovely.
