Disaster Valentine's Day Dates Inspired By Book Couples

HAHAHHAHAHHAHAH. I HATE VALENTINE'S DAY.

I would like to rename the day "Date Your Doggy Day" or I'm sure it's already known as "Singles Awareness Day". I hope you loooooooove my graphic. It represents me on the mountain of gooey heart romantic stuff, a mountain that needs to be CONTAINED. And away from me. Artistic creativity right there, folks.

I hope you enjoy my fun, romantic "dates" inspired by some of my favorite book couples (Excluding Rudy and Liesel from The Book Thief because they have gone through enough). These Broken Stars - Tarver and Lilac celebrate Valentine's Day on another luxury spaceliner, but it ends up crashing again.

The Lunar Chronicles - Prince Kai takes Cinder out for dinner, but accidentally spills water all over her causing an electrical emergency

Splintered - Jeb. Just Jeb. He is the disaster

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe - Legs the dog eats the entire dinner. And he does deserve it because he is a cutie.

The Iron Fey - Queen Mab (Ash's mom) crashes the date and freezes Meghan because she can, and also all the food.

Everything, Everything - Olly discovers he is allergic to chocolate.

Reawakened - Amon continues to feed Lily cheesy lines like "A desert lily need not turn jealous eyes toward the common violet." throughout the entire Valentine's Day dinner and she finally snaps.

Emmy & Oliver - Oliver accidentally damages Emmy's surfboard in the process of clearing out the backseat of her car for his Valentine's day plans.

A Darker Shade of Magic - Kell and Lila accidentally opens a portal to Black London and they end up having to eat their dinner and have their date there.

Illuminae - ZOMBIE PEOPLE ruin EVERYTHING, including Ezra and Kady's date. No one knows where they came from. The dinner remains untouched, surprisingly.

This was fun! Muhahah. Do you have plans for Valentine's Day? Or are you going to be snuggling with dogs like I am?

Ha! I'm not sure which post I like better, yours or Shannon :D I really like these hahaha. What a disaster to discover you're actually allergic to chocolate. No plans for Valentine's here! I'll be reading and snuggling with my cat ^__^

Ha love this!! I don't think me and my husband have actually celebrated a Valentines Day since we were a new cute couple. Now it is just another day. He does bring me chocolate from my favorite place by his work. So pretty much I would cry if I was allergic to chocolate. Great post!!

OMG this was so creative! I love it! Poor Lilac and Tarver! <3 I love those two. I haven't read Splintered yet, but I definitely curious about Jeb. Hah. Poor Kady and Ezra too! The zombie people aren't that much of a stretch though. I'd totally believe it given the book!

Hahahaha. I love these, especially the Illuminae one. I loved Kady and Ezra. I am sure they could deal with any disaster, even zombies.

BUT HAHA I LOVE THIS LIST - I would probably get into "dates" like this if I ever managed to get one for V Day haha xD

Great list XD I am literally laughing out lour right now. But that Cinder and Kai one would TOTALLY ruin everything :( !! Poooooor Kai... And the Illuminae one is also fantastic. Love it, love it! Fantastic ways to ruin a date :)

Val! Brilliant post idea! I wish I could say I found them all funny, but I haven't read all these books. So a lot of it went over my head. The one about Kai & Cinder though was hilarious! I love it! xD I did read Splintered but never finished the series.. LOL

you so should watch the valentines day movie if you haven't hahaha. the girl who hates Valentines Day is all of us by far. Accurate description of Everything, Everything, btw. heehee. I was tempted to buy a hoard of Valentines Day chocolate and candy for myself. Because that's normal. :D And I STILL need to read Emmy & Oliver!

aw poor Kai. you know, I could see him actually doing that! He seems that clumsy.

I really want to finish the series. I liked Jeb when I read Splintered, but idk. He's very bland. And I'm sure I wouldn't care for him that much when I read the books.

Queen Mab would SO crash their date. And freeze Megan. Not just because she can, but because she finds it fun.

@ the ADSOM one, but then maybe Holland would show up and save them. Because you know, he's there. Right?? I DON'T REMEMBER THIS BOOK THAT MUCH.
