This is going to be tons of fun, I can just feel it. I LOVE GIFS!
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Going to be starting this trilogy soon, the first book is on my shelf! Even though I've read mixed reviews about it, I'm still excited to read this because I've had it for so long. It needs to be read
Matched by Ally Condie
I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes, but I haven't heard many good things about this series, and I'm not sure I'll try it.
Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
The ONLY book I've read on this list! And I loved it! So there you have it! But I'm not sure I'll be continuing with the series, just because I keep on hearing about how the author is overdoing the whole series. I mean, I don't know.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Running running running running MAZE
Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin

Yay for death and revenge and THE RUSH FOR THE THRONE. Though I think this is what it's about? I haven't read OR watched it yet. But I'm thinking of watching it first before I read it so I get to know all the characters. Or just never read it, because ya know, it's like 700 pages.
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
To be honest, I'm not really sure what The Immortal Rules is about, but every time I hear about it, all I think about it vampires and high school drama. Yeah, I'm most likely confusing this with Vampire Academy. My bad.
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
I apparently need this book in my life, because so many people have said that it was awesome. And obviously I need to go into it blind.
Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi
I'm a bad person, but I don't think I'm ever going to read this. It just really doesn't interest me that much. But I know a lot of people do love it! And wait, this is the third book? I haven't even read the first one yet!
I have about 3 more of these tags to do, and I'll be doing them once a week, so I'll try to make it so not everyone is tagged in everything! If you've already been tagged or don't want to be tagged, then my bad!

Spot on with Matched. Urgh that book.
aimeecanread 69p · 548 weeks ago
Matched was a good read for me (then again, I read it around two or three years ago), but I'm not sure if I'll still enjoy it if I try to reread it sometime. (Which I won't do as not to ruin the book for me!) I haven't felt like reading the sequels, though.
Have you read Vampire Academy? Half-Blood was really similar, although I'm told the next books are more original. I tried reading book #2 but couldn't get into it. :(
SAME THOUGHTS ON CLOCKWORK ANGEL! I read until book #2, but I was spoiled on book #3, and I think the end was just wayyy to disturbing and a bad (for me) attempt at pleasing the readers.
Agreed on Throne of Glass, too! I bought the book, tried to read it and was confused on the very first page. Will attempt watching th show first. xD
Haha! The Immortal Rules doesn't have teen drama (except for the last book), and I loved it. It was bloody, gore-y and gritty.
Wasn't that into We Were Liars... I didn't even get to the twist yet, and I DNFed it. :( Wasn't a fan of the choppy writing at all..
Thanks for sharing, Val! Hilarious GIF choices. xD

The Immortal Rules is really good, but then book 3 is exactly what your gif is. A lot of drama and angst .-.
Yes We Were Liars! Everyone needs that book in their life.
Awesome post! <3 3

And in GOT it's not really a rush to the throne, more like a marathon race. I hope you enjoy it!

Those are my exact reactions too, cause I haven't started one and only read one book of the other.
But I shall soon continue!!!

Love the dolphin gif for Into The Still Blue, I've only the first book in that trilogy and for me it was kinda meh.
As for Matched... spot on. I would definitely not recommend that book, it's just so boring! =)
I feel the same way about Game Of Thrones...they just look soooo long.
Thanks for tagging me and great picks! =)

Shatter Me. Ehhhh, not a fan. It's really a book of personal choice though. Whether or not you like the writing style or love interest will be crucial in determining if you love the book or hate it.
Not a fan of Matched, however I read Condie's new book Atlantia and actually quite enjoyed it. Jennifer L. Armentrout is definitely my guilty pleasure author. I know some of her stories have cliches and such, but I can't help but compulsively read them.
READ THE INFERNAL DEVICES SERIES. It's actually really amazing and Clockwork Princess made me cry. I loved the Infernal Devices. However, the Mortal Instruments? Not so much. I think that's the one people are getting annoyed with the most, and really I'm one of those people. Wish that series only was three books.
ANNA <3 3 you better love it okay.
The Immortal Rules is actually a really gore-y vampire novel. Definitely no sparkly vamps [; The first two books are pretty drama free but the last does have a bit of angst.
We Were Liars ehhh. 3 stars from me. THAT ENDING~~~~ but then the writing was really strange for me at times and jarring hmmm. Conflicted emotions yo.
Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi. HAHAHAH THE GIF YOU USED WAS PERFECT. Never understood the hype for this series, alike you it never interested me. I think I borrowed the first from my friend ,never ended up finishing it and just gave it back to her lol.
Loved this post girl! Nice gif usage c:

Okay so the Matched and Into the Still Blue gifs made me laugh, hard. And the Fabulous kid- HA! I did like Matched but I totally get why people don't. And yes, Into the Still Blue was the 3rd book, I kind of loved those books too. Shatter Me was good, but the next two books were MUCH better.
I have to buy Anna too! She is on Kindle sale, and I keep thinking about it. Maybe today will be the day! Add me to the "meh" list for We Were Liars, but know that I am in the minority. And I think you know more about Game of Thrones than I do. Books by old man, show on some channel I am too poor to afford. Maybe there's a short guy in it? I have no idea. But I love your post- I will get mine up ASAP. I am glad I have at least heard of all the books!

I will do this soon! Hopefully this weekend. :)

If it helps with GoT, the first season so far at least (I'm on like episode 7) is almost exactly like the first book!

I'm also glad to see from the comments I'm not the only one who was totally NOT into Under the Never Sky. I DNF'd it because it was just not at all working for me. So yes, that dolphin GIF is perfect!

I'm a black sheep, but Shatter Me wasn't anything I found particularly great, even though it was one of the first YA books I'd ever read. :/ I've heard that Unravel Me is much better, though, and I have to admit that I'm kind of curious about Warner, and why everyone seems to love him. Overall, I didn't have a very good impression of any of the characters from the first book. Oops. >< BUT. I'm really picky with what I read, so chances are pretty high you'll love it. STAY EXCITED, MY FRIEND. (Omg, Benedict and Martin look so cute in that gif!)
I'm not even sure I want to start The Mortal Instruments series, and I have nearly all the books. I don't know what made me buy practically the whole series without even reading the first book. *slaps self* The mixed reviews haven't been helping much, too. Ehhh, I might end up giving away all of Cassie Clare's books because I'm not that interested in reading them anymore. :( Glad you found Clockwork Angel fab, though -- that kid has some sweet-ass moves.
Game of Thrones! I haven't watched or read it either, but I'm definitely planning to! Uh... when I have enough time to waste away an entire day glued to the screen, I mean. And enough tissues. But I'm not a crier, so who knows. And 700 pages is A LOT, right?! The only 700+ page book I've been able to read over and over without getting tired of is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. AND THEY'VE SET MY STANDARDS PRETTY HIGH SO, YOU KNOW. IT'S GOING TO BE HARD TO TOP. EVEN FOR GEORGE R.R. MARTIN. But if you do get around to reading/watching GoT, tell me whatcha think!
Vaaaal. The Immortal Rules is great. I haven't read Vampire Academy, but judging from the name and the movie trailer, I can bet you that the two of them couldn't be more different. They're both about vampires, yeah, but The Immortal Rules is so brutal, bloody, and awesome. It really shows the true nature of vampires, without much cheesy romance (the third book was a little frustrating, but on the whole, the series was good). And also: the main character fights with a katana. YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE.
Okay, so hopefully I'll be able to have the post up by this week. :D Great post!
