Top Ten Tuesday #99

Hosted by the Broke and the Bookish!

Top Ten Things I Am Thankful For

I'm pretty much thankful for anything and everything. Books, video games, food, my lovable cat, my parents, and my friends. But here, let me expand the list!

--

I might as well start with the basics. I am really thankful for my PS4. It is really pulling me through these rough times. And even though it is taking away time from reading (and my other work for that matter), it's completely worth it.

My apartment. I love my apartment, and I especially love that I have heat and air conditioning and I don't think I have to worry about going over my electric bill. Maybe. I guess we'll see. But every time I come home from work, I get excited because I have my own amazing place, and I hope that never changes.

I'm also really thankful for my cat, Primrose. Just today I was like "I cannot believe I actually adopted a pet." I'm so proud of past Val.

Super thankful for these books, because they got me back into reading. And of course The Book Thief is there, no surprise.

The internet. And wifi. Because I do not think I could live without either at this point.

And then on top of that, I'm going to have to add my phone and of course my laptop. It's such a close tie between my laptop and my PS4 at this point, aha. Either way, I am thankful for it all.

FOOD. TURKEY. MASHED POTATOES. PUMPKIN PANCAKES. FOOD BABY.

The fact that I am 21+, and I can drink alcohol, and I would never EVER go back to being under 21. Ever. I am so thankful that I can buy and drink beer and wine and just be treated like an adult (sometimes).

My parents, obviously.

And lastly, YOU of course. I'm really thankful for having the opportunity to blog, and reach 400 (!!!) followers, something I never thought I could do. And of course, I'm so thankful for the friends I've made (and talk to almost every day, you know who you are).

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my friends, who I mention by name on my blog ALL THE TIME. :@

Also, The 100. And my kids and parents. Most of the time. And books, of course. Especially The Hunger Games. Also, alcohol is a good choice. And hummus. And iced coffee.

Still salty though.

Omg Shannon hahahhahah xD I promise to mention you by name next time. I JUST DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO DO THAT
I just moved into my apartment in September so I can completely relate to being thankful for that. It's lovely to come home to a place I love that I can call my own. I hadn't really thought about including my computer and internet but it's so true, I'd be completely lost without them. Thanks so much for sharing!

The readers are a HUGE part of my blogging experience and 100% the reason blogging is still something I find so fun. :) This community is fabulous.

Also, I've been curious about Meg Cabot's series, but never did read them. Perhaps I should take a second look.

Love that you mentioned The Shadowlands and Still Alice, both are some of my favourite reads and it's nice to see them on a TTT list for a change!

Nowadays, I'm thankful that I live in Canada. But that doesn't mean I don't care about the future of the Americans. I'll certainly do my part to spread awareness of all the atrocious things president cheetos is about to unleash upon you guys. >.<

Happy Thanksgiving!

Cats are the best! <3 One of the things I'm most thankful for is that my dad finally let me actually get a cat. ^_^ I'm super grateful for my laptop, too, but no phone for me yet. There are too many things that I'm thankful for though, but my mom and dad and my little sister are defintly at the top of my list. I'm also grateful for Hamilton because it has introduced me to all sorts of other amazing broadway and musical theater shows!

I, too, and very thankful for my cat. He provides me with the most happiness in this world, and I know that my life and happiness would be so much lesser if not for him <3 I'm so glad you know this happiness because of Primrose!

I am also super thankful for books, because they give me an escape from everything, and let me read about new places and things and people. I obviously never need to leave the couch. I've been almost everywhere, and done almost everything.

Also, my mother. She's amazing.
I also just moved into a new apartment so I'm also really thankful for that :) I'm also thankful for my dog, family, friends, plus all the amazing people I meet on the blogosphere :)
That is a pretty awesome list :) Being 21 is pretty big. I can't imagine not being able to go buy a bottle of wine. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!!
