Top Ten Books I've Recently Added To My TBR

So this is a very straight-forward list, and plus most of these books were additions based on the new releases of 2016, so if you're looking for anything new to look forward to, here's a list!

If I didn't go to ALA, I would never have known about A Criminal Magic. It definitely sounds like my kind of book!

I also don't think I would have added South of Sunshine to my TBR, but I attended a panel where the author talked about her book, and I am completely sold. There needs to be more f/f romances in YA, there really does.

AUTISM IS INVOLVED HERE. So obviously I am going to be reading On The Edge of Gone. This also sounds a bit like The 100, which I don't even watch...really. Sorry.

I have The Haters on my TBR because I got it signed at ALA. And there was no line, so that's mainly the reasoning for that.

SHANNON GIFTED ME RETURN ONCE MORE FOR MY BDAY. It is time travel, and also is about finding your one true love? IN ANCIENT EGYPT? What? Need to read.

The ending of The Falconer sucked, because of a cliffhanger. So when I got a copy of The Vanishing Throne, I was beyond ecstatic.

I'm slowly reading out of my comfort zone with Learning To Swear In America, so we'll have to see how this one goes.

Mirror In The Sky reminds me so much of Parallel and Pivot Point, so yes I will read it soon.

Denton Little's Birthdate! (Or Denton: Still Not Dead?) I did very much like the first book, and I keep saying Denton's Little Birthdate. I don't think I'll ever get it right.

I'm a little mad that I didn't pick this up at ALA, because Some Kind of Happiness was staring me right in the face, and I didn't pick it up from the floor! Oh well that's okay!

So this could technically be a new releases post, but what did you recently add to your TBR?

I just read the summary for A Criminal Magic yesterday and it sounds AMAZING! I'm really excited to get to it when it releases in a few weeks. I'll keep an eye out for your review if you post one!
Oh and Mirror in the Sky sounds so good! I've been wanting to read Return Once More since Shannon's review, so I should get myself a copy.
And The Vanishing Throne! I agree, that cliffie sucked! I hope this one isn't as bad and we don't have to wait as long for the last book!

I want A Criminal Magic soooo bad. I can't wait for it to come out. I hope it's all kinds of amazing.

I'm curious what people are going to say about The Haters. I really liked Jesse's first book but I haven't been into Contemporary anymore so it has to be REALLY good for me to pick up a copy.

I hope it is as well! I don't know what people will say about The Haters. I have not read Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl, so I have nothing to compare to. I also am not a huge fan of contemporary, but I am trying to read out of my comfort zone this year. I'll let you know what I think when I get to it!

I will never stop saying Denton's Little Deathdate either!!! I am looking forward to the next books too. I need to check out some of your others. Most are new to me. Great list!

Yay!!! for The Haters. I've been dying for it & it sounds so roadtrippy and fun. I just read the blurb for Some Kind of Happiness and I'm two seconds away from adding it to my monstrous TBR. It's so cool and mysterious and WOW. Also, tempted to add Learning To Swear in America just for the title. lollll.

YAY I'm so glad ALA made you learn about A Criminal Magic!! Lee also wrote one of my favorites, City of Savages, so I can't wait to start this one. Mirror in the Sky is another one I've been waiting for too. Haha Dana was so funny on that panel, I can't wait to read SoS too. There definitely does need to be more f/f romance, and I'm glad she wrote one.

I didn't even KNOW she wrote City of Savages until very recently, so I am excited (not that I have read City of Savages, but still). Dana was awesome during her panel! She might be my new author role model, and she is a mom, which means my respect for her goes up 100 fold.
