Now that I think about it, his first book, Sabriel, was published in 1996...I think, or some time in the 90s, and then Lirael was published in 2004. So it's almost a 10 year difference!Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03450385804261334137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3443678448207114587.post-11015656001320645942014-05-10T15:35:36.625-04:002014-05-10T15:35:36.625-04:00Thanks Faye! Sure they aren't the best, but someone who likes fantasy would definitely enjoy it! Someone recommended me this series and I was hooked!Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03450385804261334137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3443678448207114587.post-41356083457854241432014-05-09T16:42:28.405-04:002014-05-09T16:42:28.405-04:00I've never heard of this author before, I'...I've never heard of this author before, I'll have to look into him more :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3443678448207114587.post-37865091461310908262014-05-09T04:21:12.684-04:002014-05-09T04:21:12.684-04:00I've heard of Garth Nix before, but I've n...I've heard of Garth Nix before, but I've never gotten the chance to read these babies. I'm definitely interested in it now. Lirael and Sabriel sound like pretty cool heroines - I love them smart ones, those who can take care of themselves, and especially those who are helped by dogs ;) Also, sounds like the dialogue is something to look forward to. Even in other books I look forward to reading the dialogue the most. I want to see how characters interact with each other, and in what other way can that be seen but through their banters? ;) Thanks for the review, hon! :)

Faye at The Social Potato ReviewsFaye M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01482378962410177583noreply@blogger.com
